Airline Discounts
The Corporation has negotiated special travel rates with Canadian North, click here for more information. In addition, the Corporation has purchased prepaid discount tickets for travel between Yellowknife and Hay River, via Buffalo Airways and via First Air; speak to your Manager for more information on how these can be obtained.
Protective Clothing Subsidy
During the month of September of each calendar year, the Employer shall provide all employees on strength as of September 1st of that year with a $400 protective clothing subsidy. For more information, please see Article 42 of the Collective Agreement.
Fitness Fee Reimbursement
The Corporation will reimburse fitness fees to a maximum of $390.24 per calendar year. You will need to make the initial purchase and then submit the original receipt to the Human Resources team. The receipt must include the following information: employee name, name and duration of program and dollar amount. You will receive reimbursement via cheque. You will be reimbursed 50% of the fees until you have reached the yearly maximum.

Continuous Service Bonus
The Continuous Service Bonus is a compensation payment that encourages employees to remain with NTPC. For more information, please see Article 46 of the Collective Agreement.
Long Service Awards
To recognize the long-term commitment of its empoyees, NTPC recognizes those who have served long periods of uninterrupted service with the corporation. This recognition serves as an acknowledgement of employee dedication. Awards are offered at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of services.
