While NTPC’s main focus is to “keep the lights on”, there are broader projects and initiatives undertaken which enhance our services. These are driven from the Energy Services office.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Negotiating new large customer connections
• Ancillary sales such as residual heat and electric heat
• Power purchase agreements with independent power producers
• Conservation initiatives
• Utility-scale solar PV projects
• Some small scale renewable projects
• Development of stakeholder and large customer relations, including community consultation
