SAIDI, the System Average Interruption Duration Indicator measures the total length of time an average customer is without power. During the 2015 calendar year, our SAIDI reached a 5-year low. This was mainly due to operation of diesel on the Snare System, which stabilised supply for Yellowknife customers, and to continued on-target performance from the Thermal Division. SAIDI results for all NTPC locations in 2015 are summarised here.
