Diesel efficiency in the Hydro Division is a more significant contributor to overall corporate results compared to previous years, as a result of additional diesel generation requirements on the Snare System. Relatively higher efficiency of these units in continuous operation, compared to their normal stand-by operation has improved fuel efficiency results for both the Hydro Division and NTPC as a whole.
