Used to identify hazards and assess risk on equipment. For the purpose of Element 14.06, Equipment includes:
- Fixed Equipment: Equipment designed and installed to remain stationary during normal operation (e.g., diesel/hydroelectric generators, compressors, hoists, transformers, incinerators, presses, bench drills).
- Powered Mobile Equipment: A self-propelled machine or a combination of machines designed to manipulate or move materials or to provide a work platform for workers (e.g., lifts, heavy equipment).
